Wanting full creative control of her own projects and more work/life balance for her young family, Meredith Design, LLC was founded in 2010 by Meredith Larimer. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design (BAAID), is an award-winning certified Kitchen and Bath Designer and Interior Designer and has over 25 years of experience of designing exquisite residential spaces across the U.S., Canada & France. She possesses a unique blend of both highly technical and creative talents. Her work has received recognition in both local and national publications. In 2020, Meredith earned third place in the 2020 NKBA Design Competition.

With a background as a Restaurant Designer, Pastry Chef, & experienced home chef, Meredith’s passion for cooking has given her a unique edge in designing custom gourmet kitchens for her clients. She enjoys learning about each client’s specific needs to create a personalized, functional and beautiful space unique to each client’s lifestyle and design aesthetic.

Meredith’s design philosophy stems from creating lasting relationships with her clients and matching up the right General Contractor to fit the project scope, needs and unique personality of each client . The result is custom and inspiring spaces that reflect the personalities of her clients and feel as if they were meant to be there.

She oversees all design phases and is challenged by finding creative solutions for the “design challenges” that every home possesses. Her expert eye often identifies errors on floor plans and/or on jobsites during walk-throughs with the General Contractor before they become a costly mistake.

Meredith is an active mother of 2 children (Rowan 16 & Sophie 12), a former competitive swimmer, fitness & health enthusiast and is often found at her favorite grocery store or in her own kitchen creating a homemade meal. She enjoys attending Seawolves rugby matches, remodeling their Seattle mid-century home with her partner Allen, traveling and often incorporates “design inspiration” from the places she visited into the final design solutions for her clients.
